Comprehensive Quran App (Electronic Mosshaf) with Unique Features

The Ayat: Al Quran app, developed by the KSU-Electronic Mosshaf project, offers a rich and immersive experience for users seeking to engage deeply with the Quran. This app is designed to provide an electronic version of the traditional Mosshaf, complete with a variety of unique features that enhance your study and recitation of the holy text.

Key Features

One of the standout features of this app is the ability to view scanned (soft) copies of real printed Mosshafs. Users can access the Mosshaf Al-Madina, Mosshaf Al-Tajweed, which is color-coded according to Tajweed rules, and the Mosshaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei'). These options cater to different preferences and learning styles, making the Quran more accessible and understandable.

The app also includes Al Quran recitations by many renowned reciters, with two specifically following the Rewayat Warsh an-Nafei'. Users can repeat each Aya as many times as desired with customizable time intervals in between, facilitating memorization and study.

For those looking to navigate the Quran efficiently, the app offers a search function through the Quran text, as well as direct browsing options by Sura/Aya (Chapter/Verse), Juz (Part), or Page number. This makes it easy to locate specific verses or sections quickly.

To deepen understanding, the app provides six Arabic Tafsir (Commentaries): Al-Saa'di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet. Additionally, there is one English Tafsir, "Tafheem Al-Quran by Al-Maududi," offering comprehensive insights into the Quran's meanings.

For those interested in the linguistic aspects of the Quran, the app includes E'rab (Grammar) Al-Quran by Qasim Da'aas, providing detailed grammatical analysis.

The Ayat: Al Quran app also offers text translations of the Quran's meanings in over 20 languages, ensuring that users from various linguistic backgrounds can access its teachings. Furthermore, voice translations are available in English and Urdu, enhancing the user experience with auditory learning options.

A unique synchronization feature highlights the Aya being recited on the page, making it easier to follow along. Additionally, the app syncs the recitation with the voice translation, repeating the translation after the recitation for a seamless learning experience.

The program interface is available in both Arabic and English, ensuring accessibility for a diverse user base. For a live preview of the app, you can visit http://quran.ksu.edu.sa.
