● Hasami Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold generals. The goal is to capture an opponent's piece by sandwiching it between your own.
You win by capturing three pieces.
However, due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, games can sometimes end in a draw (while we've implemented design choices to mitigate this, luck can still be a factor).
● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold generals. Move all your infantry pieces into the opponent's 3x3 territory to win. Opponent's pieces can be jumped over.
● Surround Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold generals. Similar to Hasami Shogi, you capture by sandwiching an opponent's piece. Additionally, you can claim territory by placing your pieces to surround squares within the board's grid.
The winner is the first to secure six grid frames or claim three territories.
For every game mode, the CPU opponent has three difficulty levels. Player versus Player (PvP) is also supported.
