To enjoy the vibrant quiz game, Knowledge is Power: Decades, on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the companion app. As of December 14, 2023, there's an important update regarding the availability of these companion apps for PlayLink games, including Knowledge is Power: Decades.
For Android users, if you've already downloaded the companion app to your current device or it's in your library, you can continue playing the game with it. However, note that the companion apps are no longer available on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11 for Knowledge is Power: Decades.
Apple iOS users, on the other hand, can continue to use the relevant companion app regardless of their iOS version.
Dive into a high-energy quiz experience with Knowledge is Power: Decades on your PlayStation®4, challenging friends and family with thousands of pop culture questions from the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s. Use your smartphone as a controller to compete with up to five other players. Be the quickest to answer, use strategic Power Plays to gain an advantage, and engage in touch screen Challenges to climb the Pyramid of Knowledge.
Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your compatible mobile device. Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing. With the app, you can:
- Select your character and take a selfie with fun filters.
- Answer quiz questions privately.
- Choose Power Plays to slow down your rivals.
- Participate in touch screen Challenges using taps, swipes, and drags.
- Play 'Quiz Blast' on the go and challenge friends to beat your time.
The app supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
