- The game begins with one card on the table and six cards in each player's hand.
- The first player to run out of cards wins.
- On your turn, play a card that matches the card on the table by number or suit.
- If you can't play a card, draw one from the Draw Pile. If you still can't play, click the "Pass" button.
- Before playing your second-to-last card, click the Hand button to signal that you have only one card left, indicating to other players that you're close to winning.
Special cards add an exciting twist to the game:
- The Jack can be played on any card except another Jack. When played, you choose the suit for the next player's move.
- The Eight skips the next player's turn.
- The Seven forces the next player to draw two cards, unless they also play a Seven, passing the penalty to the next player who then draws four cards, and so on.
- The Queen reverses the direction of play.
- The Ace allows you to play again, but you can't end the game with it as you must play another card afterward, even if it means drawing from the pile.
- The Two of Clubs makes the next player draw four cards.
