Set against the backdrop of 1992 London, the game introduces Ambre de Verlac, a museum curator managing a collection of rare artifacts. A typical day at work stirs memories of her childhood visits to her Aunt Céleste’s antique shop in Paris—a cherished part of her past.
Everything changes when Ambre receives an unexpected letter from her late aunt, containing a mysterious key. This key serves as both a literal and symbolic gateway into a hidden family secret. According to the letter, she has inherited her aunt’s grand estate in Paris.
With curiosity piqued and unanswered questions lingering, Ambre travels to Paris to explore her inheritance. But she isn’t the only one interested—someone else wants the property, and fast. She now has just two days to decide whether to sell or investigate further.
Guiding her through this life-changing journey are Nina the magpie and Hugo the cat, companions left in her care by Aunt Céleste. Armed with a magnifying glass, Ambre begins to unravel the enigma surrounding her family's past.
