How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the top rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado** on the second floor. He'll set you on the path to Arata Stage 1 by tasking you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, as shown below, and then crafting them at a workbench. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've collected **all 20 fragments**, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. Return to **Damiro**, who will then direct you to speak with “him”. This caused confusion in the *GHOUL://RE* community until it was discovered that “he” is none other than **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you'll need to play in **permadeath** (PD) mode to acquire the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up with a strong group, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've earned **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit, standing by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and unlock **Arata-Proto armor**. Despite rumors suggesting different amounts, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success.
Remember, you must play the second and third Arata stages on **PD servers** to progress. Playing on regular servers will result in a repeated response from the Black Reaper, preventing you from completing Arata Stage 2 and accessing Stage 3.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final stage involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, one one-eyed Kakuja fragment, and a substantial **500,000 Yen**. In **PD mode**, visit the Black Reaper in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face **Kishou Arima boss**.
To defeat Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage from above. With some practice, even average players can conquer him.

Be prepared for potential multiple deaths in this encounter. Each attempt after the first will require another **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. When you finally defeat Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. Be cautious, as while the armor provides significant buffs, it also drains your hunger at an alarming rate and can't be worn while eating.

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
Arata is an incredibly powerful armor, but it comes with a cost: it rapidly **drains your hunger** while worn, and you can't eat with it on. To replenish your hunger, you'll need to **remove Arata**.
The armor's benefits, however, are unmatched. You can't be ragdolled while wearing Arata, a significant advantage in all game scenarios. Additionally, Arata makes your character **increasingly “tanky”**, able to sustain and deal massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during a fight, it will start consuming your **health bar**, so be careful, especially during boss fights. You can always remove it to heal if needed.

**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Each boss defeated in PD mode yields **1,500 Reputation**, significantly more than the **500** you get outside PD. Unfortunately, killing Ghouls only nets you **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during your Arata quest.
