Just one month after its launch, including its inclusion on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released a new trailer celebrating Avowed. This video highlights the game's positive reception by featuring selected reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, showcasing the acclaim for this action-RPG.
The latest update introduces support for DLSS 4, which includes Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These advancements significantly boost performance, with NVIDIA showcasing up to a threefold increase in frame rates at maximum 4K settings, achieving up to 340 FPS. The developers have also hinted at forthcoming announcements regarding the game's future support and roadmap in the upcoming weeks.
Beyond technical enhancements, this update improves the player experience. Players will now receive an extra talent point every five levels, and those who have already advanced will get these points automatically when they load the game. Additionally, keyboard and mouse users can now toggle between walking and running, and a new accessibility feature allows for larger font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game texts.
While Avowed didn't leave critics entirely speechless, it still earned strong reviews across the board. Digital Foundry even hailed the game as a technical "triumph," cementing its status as a standout title from Obsidian.
