Attention, all Sims enthusiasts! Brace yourselves because the notorious Burglar is making a grand return to The Sims 4 with the latest update. Rolling out on both PC and consoles, this update reintroduces the infamous Robin Banks, so it’s time to safeguard your valuables before she sneaks in under the cover of night. While she typically targets homes when everyone is asleep, don’t let your guard down—Robin has been known to attempt a bold heist even when your Sims are wide awake.
To protect against this crafty thief, your Sims can install a reliable burglar alarm. If Robin triggers it, the police will swiftly arrive to apprehend her and recover your stolen goods. Even if you don't have an alarm, you can still call the police, but you'll need to act fast. Alternatively, if you're feeling brave, you can opt for a bit of vigilante justice—it's up to you!

"We are so thrilled to finally bring the Burglar back into The Sims universe," shared The Sims' team. "A big thank you to our entire team for making this a reality. Robin Banks isn’t just here to rob your Sims’ houses—she’s here to steal your hearts too! What better way to celebrate The Sims 25th Birthday than with this nostalgic yet fresh addition? We hope you’re as excited as we are to see what kind of chaos Robin Banks will bring to your households."
The Sims 4 may be celebrating its 10th anniversary, with the franchise marking its 25th year, yet it continues to thrive. Last year alone, it attracted over 15 million new players. According to EA's Q2 earnings report from late last year, The Sims 4, once a premium title, took four years to reach 20 million unique players. But when it transitioned to free-to-play in 2022, it saw an incredible influx of 31 million new players immediately, bringing the total to 85 million as of May 2024. And while fans eagerly await news, there's currently no plans for The Sims 5... Plum!
