New Multiplayer Maps
Season 2 introduces five new multiplayer maps designed to enhance the game's map selection:
- Bounty (6v6): A medium-sized map set in a crime boss's penthouse atop an Avalon skyscraper.
- Dealership (6v6): A medium-sized map located in a luxury car dealership concealing a black market operation.
- Lifeline (2v2/6v6): A small Strike map on a yacht, offering intense close-quarters combat reminiscent of Hijacked.
- Bullet (2v2/6v6): A small Strike map set on a high-speed bullet train, releasing mid-season.
- Grind (6v6): A remastered medium-sized skatepark from Call of Duty: Black Ops II, also releasing mid-season.
New Multiplayer Game Modes
Alongside the new maps, Season 2 introduces several new game modes:
- Overdrive: A fast-paced Team Deathmatch variant where earned medals grant temporary bonuses and stars that reset upon death or a timer.
- Gun Game: The classic free-for-all mode returns, challenging players to progress through 20 weapons by getting a kill with each.
- Valentine's Day Limited Time Modes: Two themed modes will arrive post-launch: "Third Wheel Gunfight" (a 3v3 Gunfight variant) and "Couples Dance Off" (a moshpit of 2v2 Face Off modes).
