Activision has officially announced the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the much-anticipated Season 3 of Warzone, setting the launch for April 3. This announcement comes a bit later than fans were expecting, as the current Battle Pass countdown hinted at a reset on March 20. Despite the delay, the excitement for Season 3 remains high, especially with the teased return of the iconic Verdansk map. Activision has been hinting at this beloved map's comeback throughout the spring, and a recent pop-up in the Call of Duty shop for "The Verdansk Collection" set to arrive on March 10 further fuels these expectations.
While we await more detailed information about Season 3 next week, which should coincide with the release of "The Verdansk Collection," players can continue enjoying the current Season 2. This season has been packed with exciting additions, including five new multiplayer maps, the return of the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, new weapons and operators, and a unique crossover event featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
