Excitement is building among Call of Duty Warzone fans as we approach the much-anticipated return of the beloved Verdansk map, set to happen on March 10, 2025. Activision initially teased the comeback of Verdansk last August, hinting at a "spring 2025" timeframe, but now, a specific date has finally been unveiled.

Players browsing the Call of Duty shop have encountered a tantalizing pop-up announcing "The Verdansk Collection," complete with a countdown that will culminate on March 10, 2025. This revelation comes courtesy of InsiderGaming. Alongside the announcement, a tri-color sketch featuring an alpine landscape with snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane has been displayed—a nostalgic nod to the original Warzone sandbox before its transformation into Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and its eventual replacement by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way to experience Verdansk again is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.

This news is a welcome surprise for fans who were disheartened by the 2021 announcement that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back." The return of Verdansk promises to reinvigorate the community and bring back memories of thrilling battles and strategic gameplay.

In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, introducing five new Multiplayer maps—Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind—as well as the return of the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, new weapons, and operators. Fans can also enjoy a unique crossover event featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, albeit at a premium price.

Meanwhile, Warzone has seen a lighter content update than initially planned. The development team is focusing on addressing critical issues such as gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements to enhance the overall gaming experience.
