A Supervillain Dream Team
The series holds special significance for both creators - Cheetah featured prominently in Rucka's Wonder Woman runs, while Cheshire played key roles during Scott's Secret Six tenure with Gail Simone.
DC's official synopsis sets up a high-stakes technological thriller:
Cheetah and Cheshire assemble DC's most dangerous specialists for an impossible mission - infiltrating the Justice League's orbital Watchtower to steal classified technology. Their crew must outsmart Earth's greatest heroes while watching their own backs, racing against advanced AI security systems with the planet's fate hanging in the balance.
"This isn't Oceans Eleven with capes," Rucka explains. "These are desperate criminals attempting the unthinkable. For Cheetah especially, failure isn't an option - she'll stop at nothing to claim her prize."
The series launches August 6, 2025 under DC's All In publishing initiative.
