Conan the Barbarian takes center stage, launching next week for premium edition owners, with today's release of his gameplay trailer.
Conan embodies the classic powerhouse archetype. His attacks appear devastating, though his lack of agility and speed is apparent. This might be offset by his extended sword reach. Matchups against characters like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander will be intriguing to observe.
While visually reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan's fatality lacks the spectacular impact of some other MK1 finishers. His acid-drowning technique is somewhat underwhelming. However, gameplay is paramount, and Conan promises a unique and potentially enjoyable fighting style.
Premium edition owners gain early access on Tuesday, while everyone else must wait until January 28th.
