Crashlands 2 has finally landed on Android and various other platforms, bringing back the beloved Butterscotch Shenanigans team with an eagerly awaited sequel. Since the original Crashlands captivated millions upon its release in 2016, fans have been eagerly awaiting this follow-up.
What's Different in Crashlands 2?
Once again, you step into the shoes of Flux Dabes, the same frustrated space-trucker from the first game. After years of toiling for the Bureau of Shipping, Flux returns to the planet Woanope for some much-needed R&R. However, a surprise explosion upon landing strands Flux in a new, unfamiliar region, equipped only with a few gadgets and their quirky survival instincts.
This time, Woanope bursts with life. You'll encounter diverse creatures and explore bizarre biomes, ripe with random encounters and clever opportunities, like luring a Trunkle into a booby-trapped field. The game world is filled with aliens and robots, and every item sports a humorous, pun-filled name, ramping up the comedy from the prequel.
Combat in Crashlands 2 has been enhanced, and the base-building aspect now offers more detailed options, including tall walls, proper roofs, and cozy crafting and farming corners. Befriending aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, emphasizing the importance of the friendship mechanic. Additionally, you can now discover eggs, hatch them, raise pets, and have them join you in battle.
A Sci-Fi Survival with Unhinged Alien Adventures
In Crashlands 2, being blasted out of orbit isn't just a stroke of bad luck; it's the start of a larger mystery. As you delve deeper into the world and connect with the locals, you'll uncover the truth behind the incident and the forces at play.
