Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, brace yourselves! Butterscotch Shenanigans has just unveiled a major update, version 1.1, packed with thrilling changes and much-anticipated features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eager to see return. Here’s what you can expect from the Crashlands 2 Update 1.1:
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, a new challenge that ups the ante with higher difficulty levels than the existing Challenge Mode. On Woanope, enemies are now faster, pack a more powerful punch, and boast beefier HP bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, you'll automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulties as a reward.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode is now available. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the game's story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most significant updates is the return of The Compendium. Responding to player feedback post-launch, the developers have reintroduced this beloved feature. The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items, helping you keep tabs on what you need to collect to reach your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are no longer just for show. They now actively participate in battles and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a new layer of strategy to your gameplay.
Gear crafting has seen an exciting overhaul, with random bonus stats now appearing when you craft armor. The update also introduces a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, enhancing your arsenal and customization options.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout Update 1.1. Players can now build on a wider range of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night, making the game more enjoyable and user-friendly.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. It was launched on April 10th, and this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.
