Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, "Daredevil: Born Again," featuring the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the beloved Netflix series. Set to premiere on March 4, the series brings back familiar faces, including Vincent D'Onofrio as the formidable Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) and Jon Bernthal as the relentless Frank Castle (Punisher).
The trailer showcases a thrilling reunion of the main characters, set against the backdrop of intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, portrayed by Cox, is seen in peak form, battling the criminal elements that plague New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.
The narrative introduces an intriguing twist with Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk forming an unlikely alliance to confront a new and dangerous threat: the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. The trailer offers a chilling glimpse of Muse, recognizable by his haunting bleeding eye white mask. Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's rogues gallery, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney and first appeared in 2016's Daredevil #11.
Additionally, the trailer teases the return of Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, another iconic Daredevil villain. Bethel, who previously portrayed Bullseye (aka Benjamin Poindexter) in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes. That season not only introduced Bullseye to the Netflix MCU but also reimagined the character with a compelling and tragic origin story, adding depth to a character that had been somewhat underdeveloped since his debut in 1976's Daredevil #131. Fans are eager to see how Bethel's portrayal of Bullseye will evolve in "Daredevil: Born Again."
