DC's All-Star Superman Gets Full-Cast Audiobook Adaptation

All-Star Superman consistently ranks among the greatest Superman comics, notably featured in IGN's Top 25 list. Now, fans can immerse themselves in this iconic tale through a new medium: a full-cast audiobook. DC and Penguin Random House have joined forces to bring Grant Morrison's story, originally illustrated by Frank Quitely, to life. Quitely has even contributed a new illustration for the audiobook's cover, showcasing his unique artistic style.

The series chronicles Kal-El's journey as he discloses his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarks on a series of heroic challenges reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules. The story culminates in a final confrontation with his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The All-Star Superman audiobook is set to release on June 24, 2025, strategically timed one month before the theatrical debut of James Gunn's Superman film. This isn't the first adaptation of All-Star Superman; it was previously brought to life as a 2011 animated movie.
