Developer Dream Dock has unveiled their latest project, *Dreadmoor*, a thrilling first-person single-player action-adventure game inspired by the 2023 hit *Dredge*. In *Dreadmoor*, players will take on the role of a trawler captain navigating the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game promises an immersive experience where you'll fish, explore mysterious locales, battle monstrous creatures, craft essential items, upgrade your boat, and unravel the enigmatic secrets that the submerged world holds. *Dreadmoor* is currently in development for PC. Be sure to watch the announcement trailer and browse through the first screenshots in the gallery below to get a glimpse of what awaits.
Dream Dock describes *Dreadmoor* as follows: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world transformed by a global nuclear war. The continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind a landscape of scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Your mission is to sell your catch to the survivors, complete quests, and inch closer to survival. Be vigilant with your ship's cargo hold, as the creatures within might turn on each other. Enhance your ship and craft equipment to delve into hidden depths and secret locations. The Drownlands are fraught with mutated creatures and sinister mysteries, especially at night. And remember, radiation poses an ever-present threat."
