Scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, this update promises a fresh narrative path distinct from the *The Mandalorian & Grogu* film but will prominently feature Din Djarin and Grogu. The storyline kicks off with Hondo Ohnaka discovering a shady deal on Tatooine between ex-Imperial officers and pirates, setting the stage for a high-stakes chase across the galaxy. Guests will join forces with Mando and Grogu to pursue these criminals and claim a bounty in a dynamic, galaxy-spanning adventure.

While full details are yet to be revealed, it's confirmed that Engineers will play a crucial role, caring for Grogu throughout the mission. This adds a delightful layer to the experience, as guests can interact with the beloved character in new and engaging ways.
In an exclusive interview, Walt Disney Imagineering's Asa Kalama shared insights into what guests can expect. "Throughout the mission, we're going to be giving the engineers the opportunity to actually get to communicate with Grogu," Kalama explained. "There may be times when Mando has to deboard the Razor Crest, and Grogu, left to his own devices, might get a little happy on the control panel. We love the idea of these fun little vignettes and moments where you're sort of on the comm with Grogu."
Kalama also highlighted the choose-your-own-adventure element, stating, "There will be a critical moment in your adventure where you are strapped for time and have to make a lightning quick decision about which of our particular bounties we want to pursue. That's going to be the inciting incident that allows us to decide which are the different destinations we go to."
