The latest update features clickable icons for four of the eight main characters on the website. These reveal brief descriptions alongside fresh artwork by FF9 character designer Toshiyuki Itahana, known for his work on Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo spinoff titles. The summaries highlight each character’s role and motivations in the story.

Garnet’s Silver Necklace is now available for pre-order, with a release planned for November 15. Priced at approximately 38,500 yen (about $260), it’s a premium collectible. Vivi’s wearable hat replica, also open for pre-order, is set to launch on September 6 for around 17,600 yen (roughly $120).
The FF9 Acrylic Stand Collection, featuring eight unique designs, is sold as blind boxes, keeping the specific design a surprise until opened.
