What Is Greak: Memories of Azur?
*Greak: Memories of Azur* is a single-player 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania platformer featuring stunning hand-drawn visuals—arguably one of its most captivating elements. The story follows three siblings: Greak, Adara, and Raydel, each with unique abilities that help navigate the game’s expansive, interconnected world.
- Greak: The youngest and most agile of the trio. He can squeeze through narrow spaces and wields a Laurean Sword handed down by his older brother, Raydel.
- Adara: A floating magic user trained at the Prya monastery. She can dive underwater and cast ranged spells, making her essential for both exploration and combat scenarios.
- Raydel: The strongest and most experienced warrior. Equipped with a hookshot, shield, and brute strength, he helps the group overcome physical obstacles and enemies alike.
The Story Behind the Game
Set in the war-torn land of Azur, the game’s narrative centers around a centuries-long invasion that has forced the native Courines into exile. As the siblings attempt to survive and reunite amid chaos, players must solve puzzles, fight off bizarre creatures, and explore a richly detailed world filled with mystery and danger.
The gameplay blends smooth platforming mechanics with thoughtful puzzle design, tailored around each character's distinct skills. With a total of 25 trophies—including 8 bronze, 9 silver, 7 gold, and a platinum trophy—the game offers plenty of post-launch content to keep players engaged long after the credits roll.
