Note that this list focuses solely on games developed by Rockstar, excluding titles like LA Noire or Max Payne 2 which they published. I've ranked them using an IGN Tier List, based purely on my personal enjoyment over the years. Here's how they stack up:
Red Dead Redemption 2 easily claims the top spot in my S-tier, being my all-time favorite game. It's joined by its predecessor and GTA 5, both trailblazers in the cinematic open-world genre. I also have a special affection for Max Payne 3 with its mesmerizing bullet time mechanics, and GTA San Andreas, which I played far too young. At the bottom of the list in the D-tier, you'll find games like Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! and Welcome to My Underground Lair!, which are generally not sought after by gamers.
