This week, developer Arrowhead Game Studios rolled out the full Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types to the game. The in-game narrative suggested that the Illuminate's ultimate goal was to reach Super Earth, and now a leak from the official PlayStation Czech Republic Threads account suggests that not only will the Illuminate make it to our home planet, but players will also have to defend it against them.
The leak, which was spotted by Redditor xTekshi, mentioned a "Heart of Democracy" update scheduled for May 20. Although "Heart of Democracy" has been referenced in the context of this week's update, neither Sony nor Arrowhead have officially confirmed its relation to a May 20 release. The timing of this supposed update aligns with the conclusion of the current Major Order, adding credibility to the leak.

Both Sony and Arrowhead have used phrases like "High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself" and "Battle on Super Earth is inevitable," which further supports the idea that a confrontation on Super Earth is on the horizon. Fans speculate that the Czech account may have accidentally revealed *Helldivers 2*'s next major update, which could bring the fight to Super Earth itself. If this turns out to be true, it would represent a significant evolution for the game, which currently features battles on alien planets.
