During the IGN Fan Fest event on February 27, 2025, South Korean developer Neople treated fans to a fresh gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. This latest video preview highlights Khazan’s confrontations with several formidable bosses, including a mysterious umbrella-wielding foe.
This particular boss appears to hold narrative significance, as the trailer opens with a short cutscene featuring the character before the fight begins. Unfortunately, the battle HUD was not visible during this sequence, so specific details about the encounter remain unclear. However, two additional bosses were clearly identified: Shactuka, a fierce wolf-like creature, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-headed beast armed with a hammer and spiked weapon.
Potential Awakened Form Unleashed
One of the most intriguing moments in the trailer is when Khazan appears to enter an Awakened state. In this transformation, his appearance shifts dramatically from his traditional samurai-inspired look to a striking red-glowing armored form. This new state seems to grant him access to a wider array of weapons and enhanced combat techniques.
While Khazan already wields multiple combat tools in his arsenal, the Awakened form appears to significantly boost his speed and offensive capabilities.
