Why a Kindle Is Worth the Investment
Having used the Kindle since its earliest model, I can confidently say it's my preferred method of reading. It has encouraged me to read more than I ever did with traditional books. The e-ink technology used in Kindles allows for reading in any lighting condition, mimicking the look of paper pages. This means you can read comfortably in artificial light or bright sunlight. The device only consumes power when you turn the page, use the backlight, or keep Wi-Fi on, so in Airplane mode, you can go weeks, if not months, without needing to charge it. It's so efficient that I often forget where I've stashed my charging cable.
