It's May, and that means a fresh lineup of LEGO sets is here to tempt you with your hard-earned money. This month's releases are heavy on the LEGO Star Wars theme, celebrating May the Fourth, but there are also other exciting sets and new preorders for sets coming later this year. Let's dive in and explore what's new.
LEGO Mario Kart Releases May 15
LEGO Mario Kart: Mario & Standard Kart
$169.99 at LEGO Store
$169.99 at Walmart
While most LEGO Mario sets cater to younger audiences with their toy-like designs, the larger sets aimed at adults are my personal favorites. These sets let you build iconic scenes from the series, like the Mario & Yoshi LEGO set or the LEGO Piranha Plant. The new Mario Kart set, featuring Mario riding his kart, is set to release just before the Nintendo Switch 2 and the launch of Mario Kart World on June 5.
