Com2uS has just released an enchanting new adventure game for Android called Minion Rumble. As the name suggests, the game has a delightful charm to it. Imagine summoning a capybara with impressive battle stats to defend against zombie-like hordes, all while enjoying your favorite drink. That’s the laid-back yet thrilling atmosphere Minion Rumble offers!
Where Is Minion Rumble Available?
Minion Rumble is currently available in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. At its heart, it's a casual roguelike with .io-style legion battles. You take on the role of a Summoner, the captain of your squad, and recruit Champions and Minions to build your team. The game features an eclectic mix of characters, such as a bowmaster fairy and a battle-hardened shooter, teaming up with a cat Champion to tackle endless waves of enemies.
The gameplay is designed for vertical, one-handed play, throwing random skill cards and Champions at you during each run. This means you'll rarely get the same build twice, so your strategy might need to adapt on the fly—your reliance on an overpowered swordmaster won’t always pay off.
Beyond the battles, Minion Rumble offers a gear system that allows you to enhance your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. There's also an offline rewards system that continually stacks up loot for you, ensuring you never miss out on goodies even when you're away from the game.
There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now
The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. It's a quest-and-dice event where you can earn Pudding Plates, which can be exchanged for rewards like Epic Champion Selection Chests.
Following that, the Puddiebean Fusion Festival is live until April 24th. This event requires you to collect Puddiebeans through quests and fuse them into gear, some of which is S-tier.
Additionally, there are pre-registration rewards waiting for you, including 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo. Capyboo is a robust tank unit that combines durability with undeniable cuteness.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can dive into this whimsical world by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
And don't forget to check out our feature on another exciting new game, MageTrain, a fast-paced pixel art snakelike roguelike, now available on Android.
