Monster Hunter Now Season 5 Preview
The seasonal festivities begin early with Chatacabra making its first appearance on February 28th - marking its debut ahead of Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 officially starts, hunters will face Glavenus and Arzuros prowling the augmented reality landscape.
Combat Enhancements
Weapon balancing changes aim to improve gameplay diversity and effectiveness:
- Sword & Shield receives precision targeting improvements for breaking monster parts
- Perfect Rush Combo (SP) now scales better with precise timing
- The Guard skill undergoes significant revisions - higher levels now meaningfully reduce block damage

Quality of Life Improvements
Season 5 introduces major inventory relief:
- New Item Box Expansion supply item adds 250 storage slots
- Material Trading launches March 17th during the 1.5-Year Anniversary
The trading post will allow exchanging special hunt materials for premium rewards including storage expansions, refining parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
