The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now is an exciting paid online event scheduled to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. This special event is part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade and places the spotlight on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos. To participate, players need to purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop, which unlocks uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring only Chameleos. This means no waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, enhancing the gaming experience. Additionally, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear as a bonus.
The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be accessible during the Spring Hunt: the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub, which will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. Players can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enriching your inventory and enhancing your gameplay.

If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions when they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances, equip weapons and gear that exploit Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.
Successfully defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which features the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects by half and increases your ability to poison opponents, giving you a strategic edge in battles. The variety of weapons you can craft from Chameleos materials is extensive, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
