With over 200 cards divided into six unique gene types, *Mutants: Genesis* offers diverse gameplay. The Tech gene focuses on precision and mechanics, featuring self-repairing mutants and rapid strikes. Necro introduces a darker theme, utilizing death as a weapon with cards that revive stronger and use resources like Bones to enhance your forces. Blades gene rewards tactical prowess with condition-based powers and Orbs. Zoo brings chaos with rapid evolution and unexpected strategies. Space emphasizes squad unity and strong defenses, while Mystic harnesses magical powers like Burn and Stasis, summoning mythical creatures to control the battlefield.

For PvE enthusiasts, *Mutants: Genesis* offers cooperative play with up to two other players to tackle massive boss fights or participate in weekly challenges within Temporal Rifts. PvP players can engage in a competitive ladder with eight ranked levels, which resets monthly, providing a fresh start to climb the ranks. The game features seasonal rewards, regular balance updates, and the opportunity to become one of the top Psycogs. Both PvP victories and co-op missions contribute to earning new cards and crafting materials.
