Nantgames has released their newest title, MythWalker, on Android. This location-based RPG challenges you to battle ancient evils, craft legendary equipment, and uncover the mysteries of a parallel realm. Armed with spells, blades, and a mysterious entity known as The Child, you’ll embark on an unforgettable mythical journey.
Who Is the MythWalker?
In the game, The Child assigns you quests to protect Earth and a magical world named Mytherra. As a MythWalker, you’re chosen to investigate the link between both worlds and repel the threats endangering them.
The Tap-to-Move feature encourages real-world exploration. Portal Energy powers this ability, enabling you to teleport to uncharted areas or return to known locations. Real-world landmarks are seamlessly integrated into the gameplay.
You can place up to three Portals anywhere. Stepping through one transforms you into Navigator form—a spiritual guide that allows boundless exploration.
You’ll dive straight into the adventure with a choice of three powerful classes. The Warrior absorbs damage, the Spellslinger attacks from a distance, and the Priest ensures the party’s survival. The game includes over 80 enemy types and nine distinct environments.
MythWalker also supports multiple character slots, so you can experience everything it offers. Choose to play as humans, the faithful Wulven (a canine-inspired race), or the enigmatic bird-like Annu. To see the game in action, watch the official trailer below!
It Has Interesting Characters
Hyport, the central hub of Mytherra, is where you’ll interact with key characters like Madra Mads MacLachlan and Stanna the Blacksmith. Mads is a retired Wulven who operates Mads’ Market, while Stanna forges and enhances your gear at Stanna’s Forge.
