It also supports the new "Zelda Notes" service within the Nintendo Switch Online app. Owners of the original Switch version of Breath of the Wild can access these new features by purchasing an "upgrade pack" for $10.
The Switch 2 Edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land introduces new story content titled "Star-Crossed World." On the other hand, Super Mario Party Jamboree's Switch 2 Edition includes a new feature called "Jamboree TV," which utilizes the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, the Switch 2 microphone, and the separately sold Switch 2 USB-C camera. This is more than double the £7.99 / €9.99 fee for upgrading either Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. The same pricing applies to the Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV upgrade, suggesting a potential U.S. price of $19.99.
The higher upgrade cost may be justified by the $80 price tag for both Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star Crossed World and Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV. The original Switch versions of these games are priced at $59.99 each, making the Switch 2 editions $20 more expensive.
