The Nintendo Switch 2 will hit the shelves on June 5, 2025, with a price tag of $449.99.
For those looking to dive straight into the action, there's a special Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle available at a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the US. This bundle includes the console and a download code for the Mario Kart World game, ready to be enjoyed from the launch day on June 5. If you prefer to buy Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price of $79.99.

You can also register your interest with Nintendo to be notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories through the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent out via email on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours by April 2, 2025. Once priority users have been invited, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. These invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. You're allowed to purchase one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to start preorders on April 9, 2025.
