Get ready for another exciting collaboration between Overwatch 2 and the K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM! This thrilling event is set to launch on March 18, 2025, and promises to bring a fresh wave of excitement with new skins, emotes, and in-game challenges for players to enjoy.
Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce its second collaboration with the K-pop powerhouse LE SSERAFIM, perfectly timed with the release of their new album "Hot." Following the success of their first collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," this event is set to elevate the gaming experience with a range of new content. On March 11, Overwatch 2 shared a trailer on Twitter (X) to confirm the upcoming event, which was initially announced during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
Players can look forward to an array of new skins for heroes like Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of the skins from the 2023 collab will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed designs for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.
Unlike the previous event, the Concert Clash mode tied to "Perfect Night" will not make a return. However, players can still earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing challenges during the event period.
In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She highlighted the team's focus on celebrating K-pop culture by creating a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and introducing extensive new cosmetics for the collaboration.
The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration event will run from March 18 until March 31, 2025. To kick things off, there will be an exclusive Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, streamed live on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and offer a closer look at the new skins.
