The Pokémon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over event, running from January 15th (12:00 AM) to January 19th (8:00 PM) local time, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the newest additions from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
New Pokémon:
- Shroodle: Hatch from 12km Eggs.
- Grafaiai: Evolve Shroodle using 50 Shroodle Candy.
Event Highlights:
- Increased Team GO Rocket Encounters: Find them more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
- Charged TM Utility: Use Charged TMs to help Shadow Pokémon forget Frustration.
- Snapshot Surprise: Take a snapshot to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
- Shadow Palkia Special Research: A new Special Research story arc will allow players to rescue Shadow Palkia.
- Shadow Pokémon Encounters: Encounter Shadow Taillow, Shadow Snivy, Shadow Tepig, Shadow Oshawott, Shadow Trubbish, and Shadow Bunnelby.
- Shadow Raids: Featuring Shadow Nidoran♀, Shadow Nidoran♂, Shadow Totodile, Shadow Ralts (one-star raids), Shadow Electabuzz, Shadow Magmar, and Shadow Wobbuffet (three-star raids). Remote Raid Passes are usable for the first time in these raids.
- Field Research Tasks: Earn Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
- Collection Challenges & Showcases: Event-themed challenges and showcases will be available.
- In-Game Shop Bundle: A 300-coin bundle including an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.
Beyond Fashion Week:
- Corviknight Debut: The Corviknight evolutionary line arrives on January 21st.
- Shadow Raid Day: A dedicated Shadow Raid Day is planned for the near future.
- Ralts Community Day: A Classic Community Day featuring Ralts will occur on January 25th.
