Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Anti-Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized JK Rowling for her stance against the transgender community. This response came after Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court decision that defines "woman" legally as "a biological woman and biological sex," thereby excluding transgender women from protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling's celebratory post on Twitter/X, where she was seen smoking a cigar and drinking by the ocean, captioned "I love it when a plan comes together," was in reference to her financial support for the organization For Scotland Women, which filed the suit leading to the ruling. This action drew sharp criticism from writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who labeled Rowling's behavior as "serious Voldemort villain sh*t" in a video posted on April 17.

In the comments section of Raouf's video, Pascal expressed his strong disapproval, stating, "Awful disgusting SHT is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior." This is not the first instance of Pascal advocating for transgender rights. He has previously shared sentiments like, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo of a sign affirming the existence of trans people. Additionally, Pascal showed his support by wearing a "Protect the dolls" shirt at the premiere of Thunderbolts* in London, a phrase used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

Pascal's support for the transgender community is deeply personal; his sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a trans woman in 2021. Pedro Pascal celebrated her announcement with a heartfelt message, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," translating to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
