Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is set to broaden its horizons with a dedicated social media account for its English version. The release date might be unveiled during the upcoming livestream. On May 15, P5X Official West shared that their first major announcement will be made during a livestream at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus’ official western YouTube channel.

The livestream promises to be a star-studded event, featuring special guests from the game’s cast, including Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by key figures from the development team, such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, Development Producer Jun Matsunaga, and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
Originally launched in select regions in April 2024, P5X has sparked speculation among fans about a potential Western release announcement during the upcoming stream. The developers hinted at their plans for English localization during the game’s first anniversary livestream. The official account teased that the release date for Japan will be revealed, adding, "but what about the West? Be sure to tune in and find out!"

The livestream will also shed light on P5X’s upcoming release in Japan, which was announced during the game’s first anniversary celebration. Atlus has confirmed a launch in Japan for Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are now open on the P5X JP website.
In their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company and conglomerate, included the game in their rollout schedule, targeting a release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026) with a planned launch this summer.
