Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile
Given their dual Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, you might expect Sneasel and Weavile to appear in snowy areas. In Pokémon Sleep, however, they are classified as Dark-type and appear on two islands: Snowdrop Tundra (their primary habitat) and Greengrass Isle (accessible to all players).
If your current research island doesn't offer Sneasel and Weavile, utilize the EZ Travel Ticket to change your research location.
Sleep Types and Evolution
Both Sneasel and Weavile possess the "Dozing" sleep type. Increasing your chances of encountering them requires having a Dozing sleep type recorded for the night.
Sneasel is the easier of the two to find during Sleep Research. Evolving it into Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, to obtain Sleep Research data for Weavile, you'll still need to encounter it in the wild.
Are Sneasel and Weavile Valuable?
Sneasel and Weavile's value lies in their berry-gathering abilities and contribution to dish preparation. As Dark-type Pokémon, they collect Wiki Berries, making them particularly useful on Snowdrop Tundra. They also provide a "Tasty Chance S" skill, boosting the deliciousness of your in-game dishes. Their ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel or Weavile a valuable asset.
