- Spot an animal you want to tame, such as a Deer, Wolf, or Spider.
- Give it a single hit.
- Hold a food item that the animal enjoys (Apples for Deer, Raw Deer Meat for Wolves).
- Watch for a heart to appear above the animal's head, indicating the taming process.
- If the heart fills up completely, the animal becomes your pet. If it turns black, the taming fails, so find another animal and try again.

Continue north until you reach **Ashenshire**, identifiable by its large houses perched atop trees.

Locate a rope to climb up to Ashenshire. Once at the top, the first NPC you'll encounter is **Madonna the Stable Master**. There won't be a quest marker, so approach her and select "I have a package for you." She'll take the package, and your next task is to return to Wayshire, which lies to the south of Ashenshire.

Back in Wayshire, speak with **Jimmy the Stable Master** again (identified by the exclamation mark above his head), and he will reward you with **a Saddle**. Note that the Saddle won't appear in your inventory, preventing accidental loss or sale.
