Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC, the Emerald Diorama, which introduces a delightful crossover with Square Enix’s acclaimed fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update stands as the most substantial expansion to the game yet, infusing it with JRPG elements that fans of both franchises will adore.
The Emerald Diorama DLC enriches the game with a new stage designed like a mini world map, offering a world-hopping experience that feels fresh and exciting. Players will encounter over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed songs, each bringing unique flair to the gameplay.
In addition, the DLC introduces over 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs, enhancing strategic depth and replayability. The auditory experience is also elevated with the addition of nine new music tracks that complement the immersive atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, navigate to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and then progressively unlock the content. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form mini squads for more collaborative gameplay. For a sneak peek, check out the launch trailer below.
Moreover, the DLC includes two new Adventures: "To End an Ice Age" for the base game, and "Tides of the Foscari" expanding on the new content, each featuring six chapters of engaging gameplay.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game received a free update titled "The Coop," focusing on a chicken-themed adventure. A new character, Gazebo, a new weapon, and a relic that speeds up gameplay are introduced, adding fun and quirky elements to the mix.
Players can unlock various achievements and access Darkana, with the full potential of The Coop unlocked by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens. For an extra tip, refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute of play in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be evolved further with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors is available for download on the Google Play Store, where you can also grab the free Emerald Diorama DLC and The Coop update. The latest updates now support cross-platform saving across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
