How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

Author : Layla Mar 06,2025

Pokémon GO's newest additions keep trainers busy! Following Fidough's arrival, Shroodle is making its debut, but acquiring this Toxic Mouse Pokémon isn't as simple as a wild encounter.

Shroodle's Pokémon GO Arrival

Shroodle, first seen in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, enters Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Post-event, it will remain accessible.

Shiny Shroodle?

At launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant in Pokémon GO. Expect its Shiny form to appear in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket event.

Catching Shroodle

Unlike many recent Pokémon, Shroodle isn't a wild spawn. Your only method for obtaining Shroodle is hatching it from 12KM Eggs. These eggs, collected from January 15th onwards, offer a chance to hatch Shroodle. Its hatch rate is anticipated to be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.

Obtaining 12KM Eggs

12KM Eggs are a rare find, obtainable only by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is ideal for gathering these eggs, as Team GO Rocket activity increases, making Rocket Radars more readily available. However, you can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to obtain a 12KM egg.

Grafaiai Acquisition

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrives January 15th. Unlike Shroodle, it's neither hatched nor found in the wild; evolution is the only path. Evolving a Shroodle requires 50 Shroodle Candy, necessitating multiple Shroodle hatches or setting one as your buddy.
