Solo Leveling: Arise's 2025 Championship: A Competitive Twist for a Single-Player Game
The Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 prelims are set to begin on February 21st, featuring a thrilling race against the clock for the fastest clear times across four Battlefield of Time maps. The top contenders will vie for a significant portion of a substantial prize pool at the grand finals in April.
The esports scene continues to expand, and Netmarble's Solo Leveling: Arise is the latest title to embrace competitive gaming. This tournament is open to players who have earned 1000 or more points in Battlefield of Time season 7. The competition, running from February 21st to March 9th, will be divided into Asian and International leagues.
Competitors will submit their best times for each of the four selected maps. The top eight players from each league will advance to the SLC grand finals in Korea on April 12th, battling for the lion's share of a 20 million KRW prize pool.
A Competitive Approach
While a competitive championship for a predominantly single-player game might seem unconventional, the immense popularity of the original Solo Leveling manhwa and the thriving South Korean esports scene suggest this tournament will attract a large audience.
