Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island
Initially, proceed to the Wild Island mission marker to locate Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. However, a higher-priority objective emerges: eliminating mercenaries in the area. These enemies are conveniently marked on the map.
Strong equipment is advisable, as further encounters await. Eliminate all marked enemies to advance and locate Lodochka, triggering an optional objective: activating the ventilation system.
Activate the Ventilation System
To tackle this optional objective, consult your map. Locate the marked fuse, then find the marked engineering room to the north. An invisible enemy guards this area.
Enter the shelter, navigate the passageways to the engine room, and use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system. This facilitates mission progression. While this optional objective doesn't offer unique rewards, it simplifies the remaining mission.
Find the Signal Source
Consider acquiring better weapons before proceeding, as challenges increase. At the marked location, find a cave entrance near the water. Navigate westward through the caverns, descending and overcoming obstacles. Use a broken pipe to reach higher cave levels.
Locate the large cone-shaped spire and retrieve the emitter at the marked point beside it. An invisible enemy threatens the exit. Return to Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main mission.
