Survive the Shifting Tombs and Change the Desert’s Fate in RuneScape New Quest Pharaoh’s Folly

RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev’s Diary for April, focusing on the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This new quest is set to launch today and will be available until April 28th. Players will need to navigate the treacherous Shifting Tombs and work alongside Leela and Ozan to alter the fate of the desert.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos descending into chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people has left the city on the brink of collapse. The populace is divided, and the ominous presence of Amascut looms in the shadows, signaling even greater dangers ahead. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the first step in this thrilling adventure.

You won't be facing these challenges alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and uncover the true intentions behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Successfully completing the Pharaoh’s Folly quest comes with rewarding benefits. Players can expect to gain Thieving and Agility XP, earn the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and receive a new bracelet called Leela’s Favour. This bracelet allows teleportation across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks, making navigation much easier.

The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest isn't for novice adventurers. To participate, players must have a Slayer level of 87, have completed the quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and fulfilled various requirements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you need to have built the right structures in the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and embark on a mission to save the city. If you're ready, grab RuneScape from the Google Play Store and dive into the Return to the Desert!
