Activision has revealed a new crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This isn't the first time the Turtles have graced an Activision shooter.

Supposedly, the crossover will feature operator skins for all four Turtles (disappointingly omitting April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and Shredder). New melee weapons are also rumored, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff. The Grind map, a skatepark, is expected to be the central location for crossover events.
Despite the announcement, fan reaction has been lukewarm. This isn't due to a lack of popularity for the TMNT franchise, but rather stems from the current troubled state of Black Ops Cold War. The game's prevalent bugs and rampant cheating have severely diminished its player base.
