Torerowa, the multiplayer roguelike dungeon crawler, has announced its fourth open beta beginning today. This gives players access to the most current build featuring the most substantial updates and content additions to date.
Torerowa blends elements of extraction shooter Dark and Darker with classic isometric JRPG gameplay. You'll battle monsters in real-time while exploring vast dungeons filled with treasure, all while striving to escape alive with your hard-earned rewards.
The latest open beta introduces several major improvements. Four new equipment slots have been added - Belt, Ring, Amulet, and Charm, with Charms exclusively dropped by monsters and providing unique benefits. The new Echo Traits system offers over 150 randomized enhancements for your gear, allowing up to five traits per equipment piece.
Hack 'n slashDungeon exploration has been completely redesigned in OBT four. Maps now begin concealed and must be revealed using Sonar devices discovered within the dungeons. Each run will feature further randomized level layouts, ensuring fresh challenges every attempt.
The game now allows players to toggle between PvP and PvP modes through the menu. Enemy monsters will swarm when gathered in groups, and newly implemented traps require careful navigation while avoiding the dungeon's dangerous creatures.
