Tribe Nine has officially announced its Android release date and is now open for pre-registration. The action-adventure RPG, developed and published by Akatsuki Games, will launch on February 20, 2025—just a few days from now.
What Is Tribe Nine About?
Set in Neo Tokyo in the year 20XX, the game unfolds in a futuristic dystopia where a masked figure named Zero has decreed that life itself must be governed by Extreme Games, or XG.
Every citizen is forced to participate in the game—those who don't, don't survive. Yet a group of rebels rises to challenge this oppressive system. In Tribe Nine, that rebellion is led by a band of teenagers from Neo Tokyo.
So how do they push back? By mastering XB, or Extreme Baseball! It's a bold and unconventional way to stand against tyranny. Get a first look at the action in the latest Tribe Nine Android trailer below.
Tribe Nine Android Features
Neo Tokyo is divided into 23 distinct districts, each inspired by real Tokyo locations but reimagined with a cyberpunk aesthetic. As you explore and fight to reclaim the city, you'll encounter a cast of eccentric characters—with over 10 playable heroes available at launch.
After completing the main story, two major endgame regions will unlock. These areas won’t be accessible right away, but the developers plan to introduce them shortly after release. This gives players time to experience the core game before tackling late-stage challenges.
