Introducing Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, a captivating new roguelike card battler that has just launched globally on Android. Crafted by the renowned Kazuma Kaneko, famous for his distinctive world-building and demonic designs in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, this game promises an immersive experience.
Developed by the Japanese game studio COLOPL, Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter blends the thrill of dungeon crawling with an innovative AI-driven system. Kaneko, who joined COLOPL in 2023, spearheaded this project, infusing it with his signature style.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Has Trained Personal AI Models
In the game, an artificial deity oversees your play, adapting to your choices by generating unique cards. The game's team has developed a proprietary model, AI Kaneko, which Kaneko personally trained. This model drives the game's Okami System, where a false god named Okami monitors your gameplay and decisions during dungeon exploration. Okami then crafts new cards in real-time that mirror your playing style, enhancing the personalization of your gaming experience.
Set in a high-rise known as The Hashira, located in Tokyo’s bayside area, the game transports you into a once-advanced complex now overrun with monsters. Your goal is to ascend to the top of the tower and confront Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company responsible for The Hashira. Noriko aims to overthrow the state using jujutsu traps embedded within the building, making her the target of the elite national defense unit, Tsukuyomi.

Grab the Two New Characters
The game introduces two new characters: Izayoi Tsukuyomi and Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi focuses on a traditional strategy, enhancing attack and defense through upgraded cards. Some of the Jinma cards you might encounter while playing as Izayoi include Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna.
Shingetsu, however, specializes in chain attacks, building up complex strategies. Shingetsu's Jinma cards feature Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Look forward to two more characters, Mangetsu and Hangetsu, who will be added to the game through future updates.
