Unveiling Humanity

Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, is now exclusively available on Android. This poignant tale unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world, exploring themes of human sin and the arduous journey of redemption. Already a hit on Steam for PC, this Android release offers a compelling narrative experience.

A Journey of Atonement

The story centers on Kyoya, whose journey begins unexpectedly. He awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, nearly two millennia from his last memory. Earth is a desolate wasteland, and his only guide is a mysterious girl burdened by an immense task.

This girl is trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, endlessly atoning for humanity's past transgressions. The sheer brutality of her unending penance is deeply moving, prompting Kyoya to share the concept of happiness with her.

The narrative's pacing may feel deliberate at first, but the slow burn pays off. As the story progresses, seemingly insignificant details weave together to create impactful twists and turns.

For those interested, Together We Live is available now.

A Thought-Provoking Narrative

Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choice, focusing instead on a linear, interactive story. Its simple yet charming art style complements the narrative's blend of beauty and sorrow. The girl's fully voiced performance enhances the emotional impact of the story.

Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, but is free for Google Play Pass subscribers.
