Warbands Campsites Arrive in World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: New Customizable Character Select Screen Campsites

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces a fresh way to personalize your character selection screen: collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available to unlock, each with unique acquisition methods, adding a layer of customization beyond the original Adventurer's Rest. More campsites are planned for future updates.

Blizzard's latest update allows players to set multiple campsites, each with customizable names and unlockable backgrounds. These campsites are accessible and previewable within the Collections pane.

The four new campsites in Patch 11.1 are: Ohn'ahran Overlook, Cultists' Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery. Content creator MrGM has provided helpful videos showcasing these new additions and their unlock requirements.

New Campsites and Unlock Methods:

Campsite Description Unlock Method
Ohn'ahran Overlook Centaur camp in the Ohn'ahran Plains Logging in after Patch 11.1 installation
Freywold Spring Hot spring in Freywold Village, Isle of Dorn "All That Khaz" meta-achievement from The War Within
Cultists' Quay Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall Season 2 Delver's Journey
Gallagio Grand Gallery Gallywix's casino in Undermine "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievement from Undermine
Adventurer's Rest Original Warbands campsite Default

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after the patch. The Cultists’ Quay is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring and Gallagio Grand Gallery require completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements respectively.

The Collections pane now includes a dedicated tab for campsites, providing easy access to previews and unlocking. A new tab on the character selection screen itself allows players to select their preferred campsite, or even randomize their selection from favorites.

This customization builds upon the Warbands system from World of Warcraft: The War Within, indicating Blizzard's commitment to expanding these features. Future updates will likely introduce more campsites, potentially through new content, older zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, or even the in-game shop.
